This component is useful to provide URLs (hyperlinks) inside your chat conversation. You can provide the URL and then change the label on them. You can also provide the link to Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
There is also an option to select to open the link in a new tab.
It’s recommended to open external URLs in a new tab to have a seamless chat conversation flow.
Configuration steps:
- Let’s start with adding the component to the conversation flow
- You need to be inside Builder –> Conversation
- Click on “Add new component” –> Select “Share a link”
- This will show the component configurations to be setup
Chat Message & Link setup
- Write your own message to show to the visitor
- Create a Title and assign Link to the title/label
- You can have multiple links as a choice, use “Add next link”
- Finally, save the component settings by pressing the ‘Save’ button
